Children’s Ministry can be Hard…

Your Children’s Program Shouldn’t Be.

With the help of over 375 people, we have made it our mission to do all that we possibly can to make the Olympians Program as efficient and easy to use as possible.

Whether you’re just starting out in children’s ministry or you are a seasoned veteran, Word of Life Olympians has tools that you can use today to take your children’s ministry to the Next Level.

Overview of the Key Changes

These changes will better serve you and will help you better minister to the students and families at your church. Check out what’s new:

SINGLE APPLICATION

The new curriculum is the same high-quality content as we’ve always had, yet presented in a much simpler way. Each lesson is now focused on a single application and easier to prepare. We understand that many, if not all, of our leaders are volunteers. We no longer want lesson preparations to be a daunting process. It is our hope that every aspect brings joy as you pour into the lives of students.

Focus on Practical application

When we teach the Bible to students, the goal is not to simply feed them answers that remain head knowledge, but to inspire obedience to God’s Word through understanding. It is our goal that each student can walk away from every lesson with a practical idea of how it can be applied in their own lives that very week.

DOESN’T ASSUME A BIBLICAL BACKGROUND

It’s our goal that any student who wants to be a part of Olympians will feel comfortable joining in, no matter what their church background is. The curriculum was rewritten in a way that teaches with depth, yet can be easily understood by a student who has never been taught the Bible before.

New Tools for Parents

Parents are one of the most influential voices in the life of a student. We want to enable parents to continue at home what was started in Olympians. We’ll make the “What did you learn this week?” conversation easy for any parent by equipping them with a take-home resource that’s easy to review with their student.

Brand New Daily Devotional

The new Quiet Time is easier for readers to follow and understand. Its intuitive layout is more user-friendly and uncluttered.

The Champion Quiet Time is now completely interactive for the middle school age student.

All youth Quiet Times come with new award stickers that enable parents to know how their child is progressing through the levels.

Flexibility

For Your Schedule

Because every church, community, and congregation is different, we understand that “one size” curriculum does not fit all.

Schedules are designed for both 90 minute and 60 minute time slots. Whether you host your Olympians meeting during the weekend sermon or a mid-week evening meeting, the new program has options that will fit the needs of your church.

Variety of Awards for Your Choosing

We’ve added a variety of awards for anything you want to celebrate. Maybe you have a class full of brand new believers, and you would like to award them for bringing their Bibles consistently.

Or, perhaps your class has been learning about Jesus for years and is ready to take on bigger challenges. Leaders now have the flexibility to celebrate whatever achievements they deem important. Medals, pins, stickers, certificates, wristbands, and trophies can be awarded as incentives for children who are eager to learn.
